ClearConsent is solely intended for identity verification and fraud-prevention purposes. It must not be used for any unrelated profiling, surveillance, or decision-making processes.

  • Government-issued identification images (front & back) and related metadata
  • Selfie video or selfie images used for biometric comparison
  • User identifiers (e.g., user ID, email address, phone number)
  • Device & usage data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps

All information is collected strictly for performing identity verification and compliance checks.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on:

  • Legitimate Interests of fraud prevention and security
  • Contractual Necessity when ClearConsent is embedded to fulfill onboarding requirements
  • Regulatory Compliance including KYC/AML obligations

We use collected data to:

  • Verify user identity and detect fraudulent activity
  • Generate risk scores with AI-based analysis
  • Provide verification results to the integrating customer
  • Improve Service performance, accuracy, and security

  • Customer of Record who initiated verification
  • Trusted subprocessors providing secure hosting, AI processing, or storage
  • Regulators or law-enforcement when legally required

7. Data Retention

Verification assets are retained for maximum 24 months or shorter if requested by the customer, unless a longer retention is mandated by applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the originating jurisdiction, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security Measures

We maintain industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption-at-rest and in transit, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.
